Kindergarten (KDL): fairy tales

the kids did a unit on “broken fairy tales” as part of their writing curriculum – they studied fairy tales and then went off to write ones of their own that deviated from the typical genre 🙂

unfortunately, i’ve tried and tried to get the pages to load in order in the gallery below, but alas i’ve given up, so some of the pages are out of order. the first one is on Wizard of Oz, the second on Cinderella (the middle comes first, then the beginning, then it ends with a bang!), the last is part of his Secrets of Droon series (same jumbled order as Cinderella)… i don’t know – i sort of like them better in this order anyway 😉
