The complex relationships Eli has with his pre-schoolmates never cease to amaze me. Since Ella has arrived she has been in love with Eli, and he quite fond of her. Eliot and Sidney, another boy the same age and very much the same agro disposition, have had a serious friend/fight relationship for months on end. Well, Ella and Sidney also like to play together, often excluding Eli, who has a history of lashing out. Recently, Eli has been doing much better, and he and Ella have been playing a lot together lately. Unfortunately, Sidney, the third leg of the sordid triangle, is having to cope, and has a typical-4-year-old-boy lashing out history of his own.
