Time with Uncle Adam

We had a fantastic time with Adam these last two weekends – especially Eli. They had a great time playing baseball and basketball, running and racing, reading and watching TV, and playing on the beach. Here is a small sampling of our time together, which left Adam beat!

Late Spring 09 Photos

Here are three new galleries for your viewing pleasure. The first is Eli and his friends – with Bennington and some of Lincoln and Trevor, with Ike, and with Ella at the talent show (they ROCKED!). The second is a bunch of a boy and his dad. The third set is a hodgepodge of Eliot […]

The latest pics

Here are three galleries for your viewing enjoyment: Eliot and Amy went to the zoo last weekend, and Eli had a blast on the roller coaster – his first time – and some other rides, and fun playing ‘leapfrog’ at the lily pond: A hodgepodge of recent goingson: And some masterpiece drawings of late. The […]

Epic Water Fight

Last weekend was hot – I’m talking epic hot for the Bay Area. So, appropriately, we assembled the water toys and purchased a new kiddie pool as well as some killer water squirters. Well one thing led to another and by the end of our BBQ on Saturday night, Scott and Eliot were embroiled in […]

Mother’s Day

I had a lovely and happy Mother’s Day with the boys. Below please find pictures depicting such happiness, including kicking back at the Beach Chalet and my fabulous cards/presents. Eliot proudly informed me that he wrote what was on the yellow card without any help (that is, from memory!). And, if your Spanish is rusty, […]

Monkey man says: “I’m ready for ACTION!”

Update for this week: Eliot had a nice weekend playing at Discovery Museum and screwing around with Cousin Bennington at Auntie Kimberly’s 40th surprise party. They were playing up a storm, digging, hauling dirt/bricks/pinecones with the wheelbarrow, tormenting worms and the like. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring along the camera all weekend, but the biggest […]

Portland 2009

Scott, Eliot, and I had a quick trip to Portland a couple of weekends ago. Though the weather was a bit dicey at times, and the family dynamic was pretty tense and rocky at other times, in all we had a great time. Here are some pictures to show a few aspects of the adventure: […]

We are FAMILY!

On Saturday, Scott and I enjoyed a funky night out at our first parents-only event at Prospect Sierra. Every year they hold this huge fundraiser for tuition assistance (unfortunately, we don’t qualify). This year was a disco theme, and as you can guess we were quite happy to groove and party with fellow families. Everyone […]

snippets

here are a couple of snippets from our recent exchanges with Eli: So, Scott and I are explaining that we don’t have to do the lice treatment again, for a third time: “Well, chances are that using the shampoo twice will do the trick.” So, Eliot says, “Well, chances are that I have to give […]
